The manual lymphatic drainage technique, developed according to Emil Vodder methodology, assumes that when performing a neck and head massage, the head support should be raised to the correct angle (45 degrees). In lymphatic drainage of the torso (chest and abdomen), the patient is in a supine position, with the head slightly raised and the lower limbs bent at the knees (under the leg support).
